Asylum routes | Cryptic crossword no 30,043

• An explainer article (Hadi Alodid’s route to the UK, 11 June, p6) said that “once in Northern Ireland, an asylum seeker can travel on local flights, buses or ferries to the UK”. Of course, this reference should have been to Great Britain, or the UK mainland. This error was in print only.

• The clue for 21 down in cryptic crossword no 30,043 said “Beautiful spot to get hot Japanese food (6)”; that should have said “Javanese food” (26 June, Journal, p8).
